Revel Rover Sram Rival KIT
Product detailed description
Welcome to the Revel Rover.
A gravel bike from Revel?! Yep, we’re better known for our shreddy mountain bikes with legendary CBF suspension, but a little known fact is most of us here at Revel ride gravel bikes at least as much as we ride mountain bikes. We’re also the same people behind Why Cycles and their R+, so we like to think we know a thing or two about designing high end, modern gravel bikes. Really, we’re materials geeks at heart, and we always like to use the right material for the right application. However, gravel bikes are where the waters get a little muddy. We’ve been riding the titanium R+ since we launched it in 2016 and it has gotten glowing reviews, but we all wanted a carbon version too.
We knew we could make a pretty neat gravel bike by taking full advantage of the ability to shape carbon exactly how we want and truly optimize the ride quality.

GEOMETRY & SIZING
Modern geometry at its finest! At first glance, the geometry of the Rover might look a little different and that is because it is, slightly. The reach numbers are longer than comparable bikes, but because the seat angle is steeper, the rider’s body position doesn’t feel longer. Take a look at effective top tube numbers as you analyze the geo chart. We have put countless miles on the Why Cycles R+ using similar geometry and we are convinced it’s the best for all around gravel bike shredding. Longer reach, shorter stem, steeper seat angle, short(ish) chainstays- it is very similar to progressive mountain bike geometry, and it works. This configuration eliminates the dreaded toe overlap while still leaving the bike playful and in control when the going gets rough. It puts the rider in a comfortable, powerful position. The sizes are true to standard- if you ride a large in most brand’s bikes, you’ll ride a large Rover.
